RichieB
I wouldn't be against it. However my gut feeling is Jos will still be here next season.
steelcityowlsfan
Mick has all the credentials to be a success with us. Can work on a tight budget. Has an eye for a player. vastly experienced. Has promotions on his CV. Has that British mentality that can seem lost on some foreign coaches. If Katrien can have some influence in her position, she needs to convince DC to let Jos go and get big Mick for next season.
Mountain Owl
We could do a lot worse. He has a wealth of experience at this level which is something we need to get us up. He would also understand the supporters demands as he's just from up the road. I'm sat on the fence with Jos but think he will be a big gamble if still here next year. dewsburyowl58
In the minority here but I don’t like his style of play and it wouldn’t be affective in the division above , so it’s a no from me anyway depends how long Jos is contracted for , he’s not been that bad , has he ? Harrysgame
Not for me, unless desperate, can't see him and DC working too well. See what happens with Jos first, he has not had a fair crack with most players injured. There is always a manager out there.

He'd be at war with the fans within weeks. Give Jos a chance with a squad that he'll have brought back to fitness with sensible management. When the next change comes though it has to be someone better than McCarthy!!! Agree with you 100% .

Look at the unknowm foreign Managers Charlton went through. Bet Jos had been on her list for some time. Look at top 6 tho, Warnock, Pulis, Bruce, Jokanovic, even Rowett, tells its own story really about what is needed

Big Mick would be the perfect fit for us. He has the ability to find gems on a shoe string budget , something which should appeal to DC with us having FFP problems. The skill he possesses is that he won't stand any nonsense from Prima Donna flouncer types. it's the nearest to a modern day Big Jack we are going to get I think .. And that's no bad thing is it? However he does hate us though ... We are going to have to cut the cloth accordingly from now on so he may be a shoe in for time being .... CC a left field manager with no experience of British football was 90 mins away from the Premier League....something that cant be said for the previous 10 UK managers before him.... The 10 UK managers before him didn't have a pot to p**s in Pound for pound, CC got the best backing of any Wednesday manager in the modern era. TrickyTrev
I think Jos Luhukay deserves to be given a chance. He’s inherited one hell of a mess from Carlos and I’d like to see how he does with a fully fit squad and a full pre season with the players. His record of getting sides promoted to the top flight in Germany is excellent, it’s clear why DC bought him to the club.

A lot of our lot didn't want Warnock for the same reason. However he would have had us promoted by now if he'd have been backed by DC as Carlos was. Also this supposedly hatred stuff is all a bit unproven to be fair and in my opinion totally irrelevant.
