Butterfield

Recommended Posts

One of THE worst players I've ever seen.

When he tried to pass to Hunt on the overlap in the first half and gave it straight to their defender I nearly had a fooooking stroke.

I despise the sight of him in a Wednesday shirt.

We should make it a point of principle and send him back to the Sheep.

When we made the swap my Derby mates were p[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ssing themselves, and how right they were.

The one in the 1st half alluded to above wasn't as bad as when he tried to play in Joao at the touchline in the 2nd half and lost the ball and strolled back for them to score. Honestly don't like saying this but he is conning the world of sport that he is worth a wage. I look at Palmer/Fox/Loovens/Pudil/Jones and sometimes think, well that was gash, but at least they tried. Buttercup is an absolute waste of fresh air and I will at some point get the chance to tell him. I may be in my late 50's but if he proves to be tougher than me, then at least i'll know that i can run off and he'll not be arsed to chase me. His agent deserves a Knighthood.

it makes me sick that my alarm clock goes off at half 6 on a morning, ive got to go and plaster for 8 hours a day and he's a professional footballer for my beloved Sheffield Wednesday, and i am genuinely better at football than him, probably a better plasterer aswel

I thought the Winnall / Butterfield was a good bit of business when the deal was done. We had a glut of strikers and Winnall would play himself into form and be either sold (for a big fee) or bought back or his form would dip and we would get rid.

Butterfield on paper was solid midfield cover with championship experience.

Shows what I know... I have form for believing a player would be good who turned out to be s**t I had a shirt with Proudlock on the back!
