steelcityowlsfan
He'd be a good squad player but would he really improve us at CB? I'm not so sure. I'd like is to go for Steven Caulker or loan Fosu-Mensah or Taunzebe from Man Utd. Bartley would be great but probably too costly. Not sure I agree that batth wouldn't necessarily improve us. but Taunzebe or Fosu -Mensah would. Agree on Bartley though.
Swiss Toni
The sort of player we need at the back is a mix of Sasso and Batth. Someone with the skills with ball at feet as Sasso but the strength and power in the air as Batth. Probably the nearest thing out there that's being touted as a possibly is Ayala. His good performances for the Owls were in league 1 so no thanks. Leeds fans thought the same with Tom Lees.

davey_wells
I'd take him yes - he has got better since he left, still young and is captain material. People are barmy on here for thinking certain players aren't good enough for us.

striker
Reminds me of Lees, has all the tools and maybe a bit stale at his current club. Rather have have Bartley and/or Ayala but a player we should be considering in view of our lack of signings in a key area of the team.

Probably the weakest of all the centre backs we've been linked with. Plus he's an arrogant tail. Really messed around a lovely girl who I know when he was at Wednesday last time. RichSheffWeds
No thanks. We need a top quality centre half. We seem to have an obsession with ex-players. We have moved on since he played for us.

mcmigo
We are obsessed with new centre backs despite it being our strongest part of the team. We need one half decent back up but we don't need a replacement for Loovens or lees. this nonsense about needing ball playing centre backs. We have 8 other players to create. We were brilliant at the back last season and the season before. That's down to proper defending by the centre backs.
Dutch McLovin
Not good enough or the type of CB we need. Will head and kick for England but can't play football. Him, Hanley, Morrison etc are not good for us we need better. Bartley or Ayala are what standard and the type we should be looking at.
