That's all well and good providing he is strong enough to cope with the demands of league football. I'm not convinced he is. He would need to drop on a side playing really good football and creating loads of chances - in such circumstances he may well flourish. Big gamble IMO. Road Runner Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Be interesting to see how he does pre season. If he's struggling then a loan will probably happen - I think that is his next stage in progression. If he comes in and does ok it gives Carlos food for thought on whether to have him around for the first half of the season. All in all we have a player on our hands who is progressing excellent and 3-4 years ago would have probably been in the first team squad weekly. Once he gets a loan to a lower league team we will find out if he can cope with the physical rough and tumble. Then we will know if he can step up to the first team.
