Certainly puts our dismal games management against Brighton in perspective.

They're not playing well at the moment (they were pretty crap against us), but we handed them victory on a plate.

Increasingly having doubts about whether we will finish in the top 6 this season.

Can see us ending up being the expensively assembled under achievers.

Hope I'm wrong.

hope you are too but its a worrying reality, if we dont show a vast improvement tomorrow ile be gutted

Indeed.

I've said in a few threads, but I'd consider these next 5 or so fixtures (before the Leeds game) to be the key ones.

They are all (on paper) winnable and we need to be looking for near maximum points.

If we keep flattering to deceive (as has often been the case), then we may well be clinging onto a shot of promotion by the skin of our teeth.

Everyone in the top six looks more convincing than us at present. They look like they are confident and enjoying games. We look nervous and scared to make a mistake at times.

Aye, with a strike force of Forestieri, Hooper, Fletcher, Winnall and now Rhodes, with McManaman and Reach there to provide you'd think we'd be in with a great chance. Alas, it proves once again that football is a team game, and ours is less than the sum of its parts.

Its a foooking pity they dont play with that intensity against everyone else

we lowered ours, as we have most of the season. They were there for the taking

Hudds don't look *that* good here. What they do have is loads of drive and enthusiasm tonight. They also had that against us, but we defended it well.

Brighton look average. We know they've got a couple of really good players and are very good as a team at rumbling along with real consistency, but we could so easily have beaten them the other week. Gutting.

True.

They were sub-standard down at their place though. f

We just managed to give them the win.

Huddersfield bring on their equivalent to Big Dave with 5 minutes to go.

Wagners created a team of Wednesday clones who play in our style and their support sing our songs.

*.Not 56 minutes.....
