The shield frames the owl nicely drawing the eye in like a nice frame on a beautiful painting. Its also recognisble to most people. Just a pointer for all you that attend these meetings with the club, might be worth pointing out to the chairman, this club has a long tradition and maybe he should respect that aswell before putting any tacky USA USA USA style badge on our shirts, That's if you can climb out of the clubs backsides whilst agreeing with anything that's said to make sure you get invited back.............just saying like Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jayzman Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 The current Owl (without the shield) is widely recognised as our badge, and is pretty subtle for jackets, shirts etc. Plenty of Derby fans, for example, passed comment about how impressive it is (on my jacket).
