alanharper
yeah apologies Alan my memory has got the better of me mate. I'm usually right with the 80s stuff - can barely remember or have no memory at all of a lot of games I've attended from the last 15 years though! daveyboy66
the slightly chamfered top of the wall in front of the triangle on the kop the kids used to sit on - you had to get in early to get a place but you always felt you were slipping off the tunnel out of the kop near the south stand when at big matches you couldn't put your feet on the ground as the crowd left the ground sitting down on the concrete steps on the kop at the top side when there were 8,000 in the 55,000 capacity ground. Phil Henson's white boots - we thought he'd tried em out in Firth Park and got the popular dog shitte at the time on em Anyone wearing white boots in Firth Park would have got the poo kicked out of them...Firth Park Rangers FC 1967 -

swinners
Standing on the kop wall, literally pushing and shoving for your place - knowing your Da was there, stood on the floor beside you - ready to catch. My favourite memory!!!!

nevthelodgemoorowl
Another record biggest sleep over when Joe Ashton opened the South stand for bed without breakfast for the sale of League Cup Final Tickets. The crash that evening outside the gates when blunts in an open top didn't see the traffic flow had halted. They bumped the car in front and an unfortunate Blunt went over the bonnet sprawling into Penistone Road.
