when i started going there would be a" real brass band" playing on the pitch (think it was the sally army but i could be wrong) .they used to stand near the south terrace towards the lep end .

Did you have some of those opera glasses? It was near the centre circle on the south stand side of the pitch.

My memories not great, but I always remember it on the North stand side ..ish..just short of the centre circle

That dog running on the pitch for 3 or 4 minutes.  Got took out the ground then ran back on a couple of minutes later :-)

the slightly chamfered top of the wall in front of the triangle on the kop the kids used to sit on - you had to get in early to get a place but you always felt you were slipping off

 

the tunnel out of the kop near the south stand when at big matches you couldn't put your feet on the ground as the crowd left the ground

 

sitting down on the concrete steps on the kop at the top side when there were 8,000 in the 55,000 capacity ground.
