Ask again this time next year. DC has an agenda and a time frame to deliver.

Did he think Gray could achieve what is required and by when? Obviously not. Deep down, most of us probably agree based on what was a mixed season at best

Will the new team? Who knows ..

I voted yes, but it's only the right decision if the incoming manager is a big/biggish name.

An emphatic NO if he is to be replaced with the inexperienced/cheap option!!

Perhaps yes, but depends entirely on his replacement.

Some seriously frightening suggestions out there -

Waddle & Sheridan?  Wednesday legends, I hope not,  would hate to see their memory tarnished.

Carbone? Di Canio?  -  both unproven and probably unreliable.

And God forbid Roeder or worst of all COLIN !!!!

Let's be honest.  Gray knows more about subs and tactics than anybody on Owlstalk.

Sam779 is in the Navy now and I'm guessing that he knows more about maritime warfare than Stuart Gray.

Just a hunch.

I've voted no, but like others have said it really depends on who comes in next, if it's a manager known for attacking football with good experience and contacts then maybe he was right.

The thing that pushed me to no is the timing. The end of the season would have been best but even a couple of weeks ago would have been better.

I also would have been happier if Adam had still been in the committee (this alone worries me).

Colin has a proven record of getting teams promoted. He'd be hated here but if he got the backing and money, he could do it.

It's academic anyways as he would never come here for all the reasons we already know
