Crofty_11
Utterly disgusted by this. What a pathetic sport football has become. No loyalty anywhere. Whilst I had my reservations about Stuart Gray's ability to get us promoted, I was drawn to him through his professionalism, knowledge of the game and the way he went about his business. He deserved a chance. Sad sad state of affairs. He will be a loss to the club.
Mr Farrell
Great decision. Sentimental to think otherwise. We are serious and at a level above Big Stu now. Stu leaves on a high, reputation enhanced and will get a job more befitting his experience and record. Thanks Stu and good luck.
mark.flem
How can it be positive. Clearly he had the full backing of the dressing room. Players constantly speak about the great atmosphere in the dressing room. Whats positive effect will it have on that?
Bluesteel
Terrible news. He had the backing of a hard working team who wanted to play for him and had us punching above our weight. Totally undeserved. There are no guarantees that a bigger name will do that.
LocomotiveOwlerton
Any chance of waiting til his replacement's announced before total hysteria?
Mr. Chow
Wow why now, why not last month. Something must have gone off surely?
camffiti
Second silly decision since the Chansiri takeover We really needed the experience of Milan, for one more season It's a shame to waste the past two years of progress
Liam_Baggies
A lot will depend on the quality of the replacement. Some of you mentioning Paul Lambert. Well am sorry - if he's the answer then what is the bloody question? I'd rather have Gray.
Wolfmanjack
The right decision, but from the outside looking in a very decent bloke, who has done a very decent job, hasn't been afforded any kind of decency or respect. The apparent courting of a new manager was downright disrespectful, whilst Gray was in the job. In my opinion they were always going to sack him. He should have gone straight after the Watford game. No idea what the delay was all about. Very odd.[/quote 100% agree with you on this one. He wasn't myy choice as manager when he was appointed, but he'd done a reasonable job with his hands tied financially. He deserved a fair crack of the whip, with some funds made available. Our owner claims to know nothing about football, and I'd be very interested to know who's actually advising him. Gray has been treated very shabilly in my opinion. wharncliffeowl
Brave decision by the new owner. Would have been easy to let things drift along. I for one was bored silly by the football on offer at S6. Just hope the new coach is a class act. Edited June 11, 2015 by wharncliffeowl

Swiss Toni
Suppose it's Chansiri's money being ploughed in, he can do what he likes. I hope Gray stays in some capacity, can't see it though.
Guest Theboylangers
I don't really mind as long as we get somebody better. Gray did a very good job with scant resources, but I think he's plateaued and would've struggled to take us to the next level. If we get somebody worse, though... Plateaued is a great word. I am going to plateau at work tomorrow.
