But they're not 'young and hungry' enough then. We need a player who simultaneously got promoted from League 1 and relegated from the Prem, and who has 700 international caps at the age of 19. So a fair more limited a criteria than that. The Lens fan seemed to be saying he wasn't that good on one of the threads here but may not be overly familiar with him... Kirikou, do you know much about Florian Tardieu of Istres? Any opinion of him? Not really good ... You will not come up with just him as a recruit! This is the sort of money you have to pay for potential. For example, we (Lens) finish in the podium of the second french league thanks to good free recruitment (3 loans from Paris SG and Monaco, rich clubs who doesn't needed them, and only free guys, except Pablo Chavarria, 1M€ from Anderlecht).
