ozzieowl
Sure we'd have Giggs and Phillips in team today. Even consider Sheringham This guy might be awsome in champ
Captain Sl-OWL-ly
I reckon 95% of the people on this forum wet themselves laughing when we signed Steve Howard, and he was outstanding. Good footballers may slow down a bit, but they never lose their ability. It's the ones without much talent, who rely on being physically fit and charging up and down the pitch, who finish playing, before the skilful ones. If we sign this Brazilian, and he's not just some big lump, but actually has some ability, he might be good for a couple of seasons. There seems to be a few if's and but's in there but basically you're right (ooh I hate admitting that), we should only give him is a one year contract ( maybe with an extra years option).. davey_wells
He looks a proper handful. But he'll be very reliant on very good service from the wings too.
bigash_swfc
I'd be happy with Brandao and I think he'd be a step up from when Nuno Gomes signed for Blackburn. At the same time, they also signed Leon Best for 3m...so lets hope a similar pattern follows http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18696995

halesowenowl
He could be the Trevor Francis for 2014. I'll let that one sink in. Cheers.
themaskedowl
Was hoping Brandão would translate as something very cool (similar to Semedo translating to "without fear") but according to my wife his name just means "Brand Big" as Brand isn't a real Portuguese word! Big Bran. As in a big fan of bran. When you're getting on (as he is in football terms) keeping regular is very important.

I'm not a big fan of those big round dark nipples. I haven't seen any pics of Brandao's nipples. Googled it an' all.

thommowl
Lavezzi's scored 12 in 60 for P.S.G. Guessing with those stats some of our fans wouldn't want him either if by some miracle the chance arose. We're in the Championship not the Champions League ffs. Personally I think Brandao will be a great signing.

scarboro-owl
Weird logic that he is too old when loads of people on this site were wishing for Rio Ferguson to sign 36 and in as crucial position as Brandao . yes, but Sir Alex Ferdinand said he could still do a job a league lower

Groundhopping Owl
So essentially we're bringing in Rio Ferguson and Sir Alex Ferdinand? Fair enough, keep them coming
Lord Snooty
Age is no barrier to class. We should know this more than most having signed Waddle in his third decade
