I'm guessing they didn't offer him anything, though. Maybe he was just there to work on his fitness whilst he awaited a deal from elsewhere? A player of McAnuff's quality will of had more championship offers than Orient. But he'll be 33 this year and in a 14 year career he has only played outside of the south of England once..10 years ago when he only managed a year at Cardiff. It's Brentford, in our league, who have shocked me They are certainly going for it, rivalling Bournemouth as the divisions big spenders.
