We should get to hear from Deehan then, post match. Not heard owt from him since he was appointed. Be nice to get his take on things and how he's settling in etc.

Father of the groom doesn't make a speech.....

You're assuming it's a heterosexual wedding....what if he's technically the father of the 'bride'

People saying it's strange that his son organised the wedding for a Saturday during the season. But you don't know the circumstances. His son could be in the army etc or family could only make this day. You just dunno. Funnily enough the whole planning of a wedding won't revolve around whether the grooms dad is working or not.

In any case, we're safe and it'll be a nice moment to see Bully in charge.

People are right about one thing though, if this was Jones in November we'd of gone foookin bananas!

If it was Jones out of office for the day, we might have stood a better chance of winning the game gary megson

Why couldn't they switch the wedding date? Surely no wedding is more important than a game of football or am I missing something here?

It's not his wedding so he can't change the date just for himself, and it sounds like he agreed to attend before he became first team manager.

No one apart from the Bride and possibly her mother want to go to a wedding anyway (the groom is not that fussed if we are all honest, blokes would get it signed and sealed in the nearest post office if we could!!), so i would have thought Gray would have had the perfect excuse to miss it.
