How things have changed in the 40 years I have been going to pubs. I find it amazing what's happened to them all.

Finished up in there on the very first date with the missus. Never been in the place since. (true story)
Wrightyowl
Burgoyne (Inn, Arms?) just before Kelvin Flats. Went there for a few jars & ended up getting my first ropey tattoo a few doors down, near Langsett Cycles, Hells Angel's place, full of dangerous looking people. Barmaid looked EXACTLY like Kate Bush. Went back a couple of times to try & chat Kate Bush up. No chance. Mmmmmmmmmm Kate's Bush.
