The Owl pub.

Also previously known as The Farfield Inn, The Farfield and The Muff Inn (yes REALLY)

lol

A young entrepreneur & Wednesdayite Bob Murfin (Muff) dipped his toe into the entertainment industry in the early 80’s with the Muff Inn (Later The Owl) ...... It earned him a few quid as all the Wednesday lads from The Limit supported his venture which allowed him to invest in, and embark upon his career defining project in town...........

The Casbah!

Ah no way!

That's ace. Wondered where the Muff Inn name came from. Also explains the links between Sheffield Wednesday fans and The Limit and The Owl/Muff Inn

Thank you mate. I'll update the Sheffield History page with the info!

Victoria hotel.. circa late 1970s.

I had a suit from empire stores catalogue.. brown tweed double breasted.. bees knees.

Matchday and me dad walks in with the trousers to it on.

No probs dont wear it anymore.

Our kid walks in with the jacket on but wearing jeans

Both stood at the bar ... jeeezus.... let me get to the match pronto..
