HirstWhoScoredIt
The only real negative I can find about the Club at the moment is the Corporate side. Dooleys hardly having any customers. The boxes practically empty due to them being £35K per season. Decision made, price £40K next season. We are one of the few box holders left and they just lost us. bizarre. Pod9
I couldn't believe how many unused boxes they are. Must be a very solemn atmosphere in the restaurant on match days now. My dads mate had a box for a few seasons after we went down and it was decent. Nice meal before, great view. How many do they hold?
Greengrass
£40,000 wow - been in box a couple of times about 10 years ago, nice experience comfy seats, great view. Just not for me.

Think there were 8 or 10 in ours (big Sheffield Solicitors) don't know if they still have it
trev
To be fair that's nothing to a company who use it to wine n dine potential customers. Executive boxes are not really for Joe public.
Guest mrbluesky
It's really bizarre, it's like he (Chansiri) doesn't see the corporate side of things as a viable income,I know a friend who was at the corporate meet last year he was flabbergasted at their treatment and payment terms ( isn't any) Its like he's running it into the ground. I really can't see why DC has kept up this stance with the corporate is it a case of losing face if he backs down ?
markowl
If we go up they'll sell the lot. If not they'll be empty.

This is Sheffield not London. We are also a championship side. Casual football fans general want to watch premier league football unfortunately. Wednesday v Burton on a Tuesday night doesn't have much appeal to most.
Jowl
I'm not sure what chansiri strategy is here. People are saying no to the boxes. I don't think he listens to people who actually tell him what a daft idea it is.

richowl
That seems decent logic. Can't sell them at 35k a season so put them up to 40k.

pazowl55
Get free playoff final t-shirts on everyone's comfy seat. That will get them shifted.
M Royds
By the sound of it, boxes are also not for the Sheffield Corperates either. £40,000. Wow.

MAL
Could it be another way of putting money into the club though. Charge a lot for the box, if someone pays it, fair enough. If nobody pays it, he gets his mates to buy them for him, hence more money for the club. Just a guess.
