@owlstalk
I love the 'versus' type questions when it comes to players so let's do a few ROSS WALLACE vs CHRIS BRUNT Which player would you choose for your side and why? Owlstalk Shop
thatladfromchap
Brunt was different gravy. Didn't even peak as a footballer until after he left but some of the stuff i saw him do at Hillsborough was incredible.

matthefish2002
Brunt at Wednesday could be a bit lazy and inconsistent but put him comfortably ahead of Ross Wallace.

SiJ
In terms of talent, Brunt everyday of the week. Amazing left foot. Not seen many players who could hit a ball like he could. Also have to appreciate how well he did after departing. Pretty much spent a decade as a Premier League player and an international. Wallace was a really good player for a couple of season and was what I'd very much consider a big game player. Needless to say, I'd love to have someone in the current squad with their talent.

Brunt for me but Wallace was underrated in my opinion and a good egg, so to speak. Given my discussions in the QPR love Bannan topic I'd enjoy a Whelan v Bannan debate (am I the only one who'd go for Whelan?) and a Fletcher v Hooper would be interesting. alanharper
Depends whether you needed somebody to play on the left wing (Brunt) or the right wing (Wallace). Wallace could do a job on either side if necessary, but mostly played on the right despite being left footed. Not sure if Brunt even had a right foot but his left was superb. BIG D
Wallace was a perfect fit for that team. Didn’t he go off early in the Huddersfield play off game?

Hmmm... Brunt: The lob against Leeds at Bellend Road Volley against Barnsley at Hillsborough The half volley against Coventry at Hillsborough A couple of absolute tonks against Leicester home and away Wallace: Brighton in the play off semi final Huddersfield tonk in 2017 Norwich beating the keeper from miles out in 2017 Fulham tonk in 2015 I think Be a few others, but those are the ones that I recall.
