There has been a stand off for a number of years now. Previously each club used to get the whole end. Strikes me that its more to do with trying to gain an advantage. Not that its working today. They did have a period of time where they agreed 800 tickets each, but I’m not sure what’s happened for that to end up back with no away fans at all. It’ll be the same at Celtic Park as they only give what the other does. I don’t think it’s that unpopular. A lot of fans up there just genuinely don’t even want the other in their ground and that’s that. In terms of agreeing to limited capacities between them I sort of get it. It boiled my p*ss when they only gave us the Bramall Lane lower yet we let them take the entire Leppings Lane end.
