Carlos to Spain

Carlos is now the new Celta Vigo manager in Spain's La Liga. 

 

Good luck to him. Unlike some I have no hatred towards him. Played some great football in his time here. 

 

Ps I didn't fancy starting this thread in the Wednesday section as it'll get derailed as always. 

 

Pps. Celta Vigo is his boyhood club (Got it in there before the rest of you start)

Liked Carlos, but I think Carlos problem was Carlos.

 

Like Wilder there seemed no plan B when found out struggled to adapt.

 

Wish him well, was great here for 2 years

Good move. Getting them away from danger and top 14 or even 10 would be an achievement.

Presumably commutable to his home in northern Portugal. Great move for him, good luck Carlos.

I hope it goes well for him, he's landed himself a decent job 

 

Tactically he's very limited which is why he never stays at a club for more than a year or two and why clubs in England are reluctant to hire him but as a bloke he comes across well and always talks fondly of his time with us

There is surely not a better agent in world football than Carlos’ agent .  No matter what he is paid, it isn’t enough.

Didn’t know about this so thanks for posting. It’s a fantastic job for Carlos, I hope he does well for them (and himself).  Tho I’d imagine the odds aren’t great at him leaving by next summer

I like him. Good job for him, hope he does well. Gave us some of the best football we have seen in years.
