Away Grounds You've Seen Wednesday Play That No Longer Exist?

Recommended Posts

Right, didn't know about Oxfords new ground. My son was born in the the John Radcliffe hospital, Oxford, which overlooks the old manor ground. He was born on the Boxing Day morning 1987. Oxford played Liverpool in the afternoon and lost 7-0. The window of the maternity ward was full of new fathers watching the game. Was a good view as well. H0wever, the mothers and staff weren't very happy.

Just had a conversation with our cleaner. He's barely missed a Millwall home game since 1954 and he says he's never heard anyone referring to the Old Den as Cold Blow Lane before. His dad was a QPR fan and he said he's never heard anyone calling Loftus Road "South Africa Road" either, so it's weird that this has come up.

Cold Blow Lane was the address of the Old Den, I've definitely heard it by this name before though it's probably not it's correct name.
