National hockey stadium mk dons

What was the dump we played Bristol rovers at Twerton Park  ?.

Correct - Twerton Park in Bath - still used by Bath City

Won 1-0 with a Trevor Francis goal in 1990 - 9th game of the unbeaten run at the start of that cup/promotion winning season.

There was a great Chippy just outside the ground !

All of those plus,

Sunderland - Roker Park

Brentford - Griffin Park

Hull - Boothferry Park

Wigan - Springfield Park

Doncaster - Belle Vue

Derby - Baseball Ground

Northampton - County Ground

Walsall - Fellows Park

Colchester - Layer Road

Bolton - Burnden Park

Huddersfield - Leeds Rd

Millwall - Cold Blow La.

Coventry - Highfield Rd

Swansea - Vetch Field

Reading - Elm Park

It's  amazing how many clubs have moved to new grounds in the last 30 years or so. Some from very famous grounds. I think it's time we also moved to a better stadium.

Not doubting you for one minute but I can't recall us playing at Eastville, I only remember back to mid 70's and then not very well.

We played at Eastville in September/October 1980.  The last away game of the Oldham riot ban.  I along with hundreds of Wednesday fans were there.

Most of those mentioned, has anyone said 3 sided Bumhòle Lane ?

Funny you'd should mentioned that, My old man took me there in the 1975/76 to see the blunts play Arsenal. Can't remember the score but i think that was the season that they finished bottom of the Old First Division.Thankfully my uncle Started taking me regularly to S6 after that horrific experience.😉
