Why does it have to be maintained so well? Does anyone play on it all ie Sunday sides or kids games?

Millmoor cannot be used for housing etc because it's a council thing about having to be used for sport Boothy wanted to demolish it and build a Greyhound track on it but council wouldn't let him for whatever reason. Also Ken Booth I think was a Wednesdayite it was his wife who was a Miller but first and foremost he was a businessman I used to work for him and his son young Ken, also his Grandson Jamie, all about money to them, good people though

This was the game - https://www.11v11.com/matches/west-ham-united-v-rotherham-united-31-january-2004-18564/

Yes we drew with Wycombe. A bit of a random game for sky to have picked back then when they barely showed anything below the championship.

Bloody ell West Ham had a reyt team out there, and that ******** Brian Deane scored for them 😳

Not that it's important, but I've noticed a few calling Millwall's old ground "Cold Blow Lane" instead of The Den (or Old Den as we'd say now). Was it actually known as that back in the day? I know it was the address, but I'd never heard the stadium actually referred to as Cold Blow Lane before. I went a couple of times in the '90-'91 season when we lost 4-2 in the league and drew 4-4 in the FA Cup, but I can only remember it ever being called The Den.

I thought it might be, changed a bit from when I first went in early 1970s.

One of my first away games, think we drew 1-1 and Peter Sissons scored our goal.

must be a london thing having 2 names for the ground as west ham was the boleyn ground but everyone called it  upton park.  the arsenal stadium  was always better  known as highbury .QPR  's loftus road turned into south africa road  and the empire stadium became wembley ........
