owlprince Posted April 19, 2022 Share Posted April 19, 2022 Bpf 7- didn’t have loads to do but did well claimed corner at the end to settle nerves kicking was better tonight hunt - 5 nearly gave it away with a sloppy pass palmer 8 - was very good tonight pushed up well and got us out of a couple of sticky moments storey - 8 solid Johnson 7 - showed some quality despite playing out of position NML -8 man of match for me not his best ever game but was looking to make stuff happen have the right back a torrid time and put in some decent balls. Won us the pen Paterson 5- looked clunky in midfield Bannan 5- was always looking for the Hollywood pass in the first half. Worst performance of 2022 byers 6-had a decent effort in the 1st half. Perhaps to deep with bannan gregory 7- did ok was cool with the pen Berahino 4 should have done better with his chances kamberi 6 - worked hard as always nearly got us a second Dunkley 5 - didn’t win his headers and have it away a couple of times luongo 7 helped us keep calm in midfield Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BPF 7 great claim at the end Hunt 6 did ok but minus point for that horrible back pass Palmer 7 probably the best of the back three Storey 6 ok defensively but gash on the ball. Not quite sure what some of you are seeing to be honest Johnson 5 not he’s fault. He’s crap at centre back. Why move him? Mendez-Laing 6 reminds me of JJ. Very tricky and had the beating of his man but awful final ball. Extra point for winning the penalty Byers 7 the best of the midfield 3. Had a good game Bannan 6 not at the races after the first ten minutes. Never stopped running though Paterson 5 poor. Not good enough to start Berahino 5 poor performance. Missed two absolute sitters Gregory 7 not great but got the all important winning goal Luongo 6 better when he was on the pitch but gave away silly fouls Dunkley 5 he’s not very good is he Kamberi 5 donkey Moore 5 he’s very lucky he got away with naming such a poor team. Moore makes things a lot harder than they need to be but we got the result. Storey and Byers the stand outs and Gregory was cool when needed and rightly angry at being taken off. Needs rocks around him Johnson 7 not a CB but exuded quality Hunt 6.5 below his recent superb best Byers 8 MoM stood out defensively and going forward Bannan 6.5 too deep and tried too hard. He’s much better than tonight Paterson 5.5 love him but he had a night to forget NML 7 scared them for 60 then lost his way. Berahino 6.5 worked hard all night. Got in great positions but two dreadful misses. Gregory 7.5 one awful miss but thought he had a very decent game Luongo 7 sanded down our rough edges. Sheer class Kamberi 6.5 did a decent job.
