Exactly this !!! and no Brennan either tonight, did he get injured last week as well !!

Perhaps in Windass's case it's a case of not subjecting him to two hard away games in heavy conditions within a few days of each other. No mention of injury picked up against Hartlepool or indeed any injury other than the ruptured hamstring that kept him out since pre-season.

we have had enough of that at this club with Dr Carlos and his massive syringe  

 

It was a bit of a gamble leaving him out tonight, but if there was any doubt about his fitness levels it was a gamble worth taking.

 

On a similar note, it was good to see Luongo taking that responsibility on himself by making sure he isn't risked for the next 3 (easy looking) games. Very clever of him.
