But there were other very good sides too so we were never favourites for the tournament.. Brazil, France, Italy, Germany all as good or better. Capello was an excellent manager but didn't have the players. Jim Posted September 2, 2021 Share Posted September 2, 2021 I expected a tough game tonight and to a certain extent it was. England stepped it up a gear in the second half and blew Hungary away. Kane probably should’ve had an hat-trick but both he and Sterling showed they’re as good as anything in world football at the moment and it won't be long before and rightly so that Grealish is being touted as a world class player.
