Wing Back
At the risk of getting totally flamed for this, I thought he was a decent player just not used properly.

TbagMcgraw
Well excited when him and Sibon signed! Never really worked, same can be said for alot of our signings around that time. Can remember De Bilde going on loan to Villa when we got relegated, but can't remember him scoring for us in the Championship when his loan ended....apparently he did though according to wiki. Those days though, it was fascinating signing foreign players wasn't it, exciting! The Premier League felt special back then, not any more...glad we're not in it (cough)
Arthur Bach
DeBilde and Sibon was the last roll of the dice and, such is Wednesday, we did it on the cheap. Totally average Prem squad players when we needed players with psychologically stronger mindsets.
Onge
Terrible signing - big wages and a poor attitude. At least we've learnt our lesson since then, eh... 2

Owls-Fan
I remember that summer we were linked with lots of strikers like Hartson and Huckerby, and then suddenly signed De Bilde and Sibon. Turned out they weren’t as good as we needed them to be replacing the void of Di Canio
markg
Remember him getting a lot of stick in the premier league but I also remember him working hard in his first few games and scored a decent number of goals in the top flight.
Gob_Bluth
Didn't he go to prison for that punch? Or very nearly did I remember reading about him before he signed for us, he smashed the guys eye socket and cheekbone with that punch.
thesouthowl
I was on the train back Sarf with Peter Shreeve and asked him why he brought De-Piede on instead of De Bilde. He said and I quote "he's a Ku-nt" He went on to say he just can't be bothered and is more interested in just picking up big wages 1

Nut
My main memory of him is an away game at Stockport where it absolutely hammered it down all game and we got drenched on the open away end. There was a corner just in front of us and de bilde had his hands up his sleeves and his head tucked back into his shoulders as if trying to shelter from the rain rather than being bothered about the game. It really showed to me he wasn't that interested, although I think he may have scored that game. Alan Kelly was in goal and I think we lost 3 1. @owlstalk
He did an article a few years after he left us laughing at how high his wages were here and how much money he made Owlstalk Shop

marcx666
I remember one of his first games, we played Man U, he lost the ball to Stam who burst forward 50+ yards and De bIlde chased him all the way, then fell over
