Given the circumstances and the points deduction recruitment has been far better than we could have expected. The likes of Windass and Patterson will turn out to be key signings in my opinion this season and in the future. Kachunga is proven at this level and on a free is decent business. Loan signings again are proven performers in the Championship. Flint has a wealth of experience and chips in at the other end and Derby fans are gutted they've loaned us Marriott which speaks volumes and Izzy Brown is quality player and is going to be key this season Feeling very positive. There seems to be a great team spirit around the club from interviews/videos i've seen We'll get out of this and stay up. I have no doubt about it. It also would have been nice to move on Westwood and maybe get Brennan and one or two others out on loan but I won't complain. Still felt we needed a holding midfield player and someone who can play LB/LWB. But delighted with the players we have brought in, now we really need to hit October running. Brown only seems to be fit for half a season at most. Hopefully Alex Hunt will emerge as a possible stand in for that position and create chances for the strikers that we’ll need. When one of your better performers leaves, you have to replace them. Happy with Paterson for Fletcher, but we haven’t replaced Murphy who was our standout performer second half of last season.
