Makes a lot of sense. They’ll be a winger (or two) down as I can’t see both Buendia and Cantwell staying. He’ll probably jump at the chance to go back home. Even if we HAD the money, I’m not sure we’d be able to compete when Norwich eventually come in for him. Enjoyed watching him - he’s clearly a good egg. He should get a move to a top championship club next season or maybe even some minutes in the prem if he decides to stay and fight for his place.
