Who Is Responsible For SWFC's Current Terminal Decline?

467 members have voted

  1. 1. Who do you think has caused the rot?

    • Dejphon Chansiri - Bags of money but zero experience in football, is the main man the catalyst of our decline
      177
    • Garry Monk - Only here a few months, no backroom staff and other peoples players, some odd team selections and substitutions haven't helped
      10
    • The Players - virtually the same core players from 4-5 years ago, are they mentally prepared for the challenge we face.

Didn't vote, just don't ever agree with apportioning blame. I'm more interested in all pulling in the same direction in trying to address our problems

If DC wants the fans to pull together he’s going a strange way about it. It’s £33 on the kop, £36 in the grandstand and £39 in the south stand on Saturday.

How many fans that aren’t season ticket holders do you expect to be there on Saturday?

Manager and chairman bank all on promotion after near miss, goes boobs up,we all live with the aftermath.

It was close, wed have done Fulham in the final IMO,they froze, wed already had the experience, but they put that huge guy on Pudil the rest is where were at,potless with a tired squad,no home, dwindling fanbase,a possible points deduction that would mean demotion and still no cashflow,a derilict stadium thats under scruitiny by the local council as fit for purpose, and about as far from the premier league as we were 20 odd years ago

Thats the price of failure

let’s be honest even our season tickets are massively overpriced. Didn’t DC say something along the lines of if we pay the high prices we get a better quality of players!?! As a side note Huddersfield have released their season ticket prices for next season. Most expensive is £249.

I agree that some posts are bit OTT and teams will always have a bad run of results every now and then.
But do you think the club is moving in the right direction?

Well...we've played well against the top few teams...have scored more goals away than most of the other teams...up until Blackburn no team has outplayed us and most of the draws, defeats in he last minutes have been down to us. We are where we are and until Monk gets the chance to put his own team out we're in limbo. One thing for sure Monk has made it clear that we won't be carrying anyone in this squad so if you don't hack it you'll be gone which is a step in the right direction

BTW...the picture is a bot generated one...stops me getting banned by posting

DC 100%.

Don't agree with the bags of money though. I think he's blown it all. Otherwise he'd have improved the ground and facilities.

But he is desperate to put more money in, only because of FFP he cannot...

When the club announces they are going to pack it in with fake businesses and stupid schemes, like manufacturing the kit, and instead focus solely on actual football operations, then we might be on our way.

I'm afraid we don't stand a chance until DC either sells us on, or let's someone else do the job.
