  1. 1. Who do you think has caused the rot?

    • Dejphon Chansiri - Bags of money but zero experience in football, is the main man the catalyst of our decline

    • Garry Monk - Only here a few months, no backroom staff and other peoples players, some odd team selections and substitutions haven't helped
      10
    • The Players - virtually the same core players from 4-5 years ago, are they mentally prepared for the challenge we face.

We love to blame.

If I could blame one thing it would be the signing of Rhodes. But other signings were as bad. Van Acken for example. Winnal was a terrible signing. Many other big wage signings like Jones and Abdi..

They destroyed all the flexibility Chansiri had to give to his managers.

He gambled on short term solution s whereas wiser chairman would have trusted a quality manager to devise a proper plan.

Carlos Carvalhal was the wrong bloke at the wrong time and it all stemmed from that period.

But regardless of all that we have still been decent. It hasn't all been bad.

Let's not talk like it's all over and done and dusted or we may as well juts accept relegation now.

When organisations go toxic. While the rot may be most apparent at the top, the rest of the organisation is part of the process. In the end, the toxicity or “rot” of an organisation is from the inside out and not from the top down.
