Really doubt that underneath all the injuries and the trauma of playing for Carlos there is a good player remaining in Abdi,

Remember Watford fans said Martin Taylor was a good player...I've seen milk turn quicker than him,

Carlos was never gonna end the Bannan love in for Abdi so see what tashy can do but like I say I think it's gone too far to make anything of Abdi in my opinion, I'd be more interested in making a player out of Stobbs, Clare etc and progress through homegrown players now. @Hearing Clare maybe having contract issues makes me sad having us all seen what has become of the Hirst saga. See how that pans out but Abdi ship sailed over a year ago for me.

Tell you what pal, we are sorely missing Bannan now aren't we.

We are pal, Defo - Desperate times, Would love him back - I aint a Bannan hater - Just I find him frustrating when he goes wanting the ball too much, Annoyingly finds himself pillar to post in lesser effective areas than if he composed himself and holds central.

Vicious circle though - Clearly Bannan was always headed for time out on the sidelines for him playing whilst carrying injuries etc. Just bloated the squad whilst he was always first choice and clearly we have never provided good enough back up for the inevitable.

Abdi was never gonna get a look in over Bannan at any point. All ill fated from there on in and it showed when he played but he never has done anything to make us think otherwise, Like I say Abdi is out of all equations for me, Big Shame as well,

Abdi is a very good player.

He tore us so many new ones in a Watford shirt, we looked like a Swiss cheese.

Not to mention 30 games in the PL.

The ability he has cannot be lost.

This could be his chance with Lee and Booboo Bannan out.

He left Watford because he wanted to play in the middle (and the money, of course).

Let's see if Jos can get him playing like he used to.

If he can, our relegation worries will be a darn sight less than they are now.

Been 3 years since he played regularly. Guy has produced 1 moment, not performance, moment, in 3 years to suggest he should play for us if fit.

Pretty much so far. Clean slate now though under JL.

Hutch starting to train again, Lees getting close, now Abdi. Bannan suffered a reaction when he started training but maybe a hiccup rather than back to square one. Perhaps we are slowly starting to turn the corner re. injuries.

Not been disapppointed..........when he's played.

played 2nd half vs forest on same side of pitch were I was ,he was excellent that game and helped us to our last victory. id have him on bench ,yes he cant play 90 mins yet but I'm sure he could manage 30-45 mins like he did at forest.
