However, it's not a lack of ambition why DC won't be investing big this year is it? The will is there and the cash is there but FFP says no. I've just been reading more about the Villa sh itstorm and it seems there's a lot more pain to come for them. I don't want to go their again. The Night-Owl Posted July 4, 2018 Share Posted July 4, 2018 Seems like we're just going to wait till the end of the window to bring in a few loanees but basically go with the same squad, although refreshed with fitness and quite a few youngsters. Doesn't sound good the way it's dragging on in regards to Fred and Rhodes but I'm still hoping we'll get Fred back permanently. Not as productive a window as I was hoping for but it's understandable and in some ways it could work in our favour, if there isn't too many changes player wise? Dependant upon that we hopefully don't suffer as many injuries as last season, plus lower expectations/pressures could be a good thing too?
