Mr. Tom
Also really good to see when there was a stoppage for a tangle between Pudil and one of theirs 5min before half time, Cam came 30 yards up the pitch to have a good 2min chat with the whole back line and midfield, properly getting his views across. Lots of pointing. 9/10.
I'm an Essex Owl
Could easily have lost tonight but for him. Game changing saves... Well done Cameron!
StudentOwl
I reckon if you told a Reading fan that was there tonight that Dawson was our third choice keeper, they'd say you were having them on. Owl Be Back
Great performance tonight and makes me think if we can get half decent money for Westwood then lets cash in as Dawson and Wildsmith look good enough; Dawson to deputise with Wildsmith holding the number one shirt. Guest
We’ve got two quality young goalkeepers there’s no doubt about it Westwood has a big job on his hands keeping these two out
Luke
saw him for his chesterfield debut, pulled some class saves everyone who ive spoke too thinks dawson is better than wildsmith anyway as for westwood, get a offer of 2-3 million ,we'd be daft to turn it down
Guest Kagoshimaowl
I still think he could end up being better than Wildsmith. Love them both. We are really lucky to have them.
j17tjp
Have only seen the 3 minutes of hi-lights on BBC sport, but he made some big big saves. Not quite sure how he got lumbered with the OG, look like Venancio (mis)kicked it in & Reading bundled in over the line. the lad did amazingly well considering that's his first full 90min for a while

Only a few months ago many posters thought that there was a need to sell Dawson, DC doesn’t need to sell anyone at Kean’s salary level and worth. The club’s ‘high worth’ players such as Fessi and Rhodes would possibly tempt clubs at bargain prices, IMHO it could be sensible to try to divest in respect of the serially injured players, such as Westwood and Hutchinson, brilliant that they are on the pitch, they add nothing to the squad whilst being perpetually injured. maldino2004
In addition to his saves I thought his distribution was excellent.
Owls_fan_since_1983
I seen the highlights via the BBC and he did very well, top keeper

Agree plus westwood tends to pick up too many injuries, got negged for saying so though
Guest Maxine
I wonder what Westwood is thinking.
Shifty Powers
Westwood owes us nothing. He has been a star for us over many seasons, including some gloomy ones under Stuart Grey were he probably kept us. But with both Wildsmith / Dawson - they look to be the future. I would be happy with either of them as our number one next season.
The only way is S6
Dawson had a great game & kept us in it more than once. Damned unlucky with their goal. Bet he was spitting feathers after playing so well. Our first goal conceded under Jos, & a right fluke to boot. Otherwise flawless performance. Guest Willow Owl
2 great young keepers, but Westwood comes straight back in for me. The guy is simply the best keeper in this league by far and still has 3/4years at the top of his game. Let's not forget the last 3 seasons and the amount of games he kept us in for what has happened in the last few games. It is also great that we have 2 young lads who are pushing Westwood in case we decide to sell or he decides to leave in the future.
HOSTAGE IN PYONGYANG
Just to be negative, his kicking is a bit hit and miss sometimes. But if it wasn't he'd be playing in the prem. He really is a top shot stopper.
