It's brilliant Football Grounds Book from Amazon - http://amzn.to/2mgsMxB Football doesn't really do books unlike say Cricket (IMO), however the OP is quite right this book is a classic and would any do any book shelf justice. My copy was courtesy of Calderdale Libraries (not my finest hour as callow youth) I probably owe £786.12 in fines and compound interest. Can I also recommended a book by the same author, 'Engineering Archie' the famous Glaswegian football stadium engineer who was the go to man for any aspiring Association Football club. He also designed the main stand shortly after relocating to Hillsborough.

It's the 6th round FA Cup tie v Southampton in March 1984. Boring 0-0 draw in front of 43k. Main thing is it shows the Kop fairly full, a true thing of beauty!

I'm assuming it's after the Carlisle match, my first ever time on being on the hallowed turf. Hardly pipped our nearest rivals that season although one particular match turned the tide in Sheffield football back in our favour for the next 2 decades. Surprised no pictures of the old neons lights lit up at night yet. Some cracking pics already though.
Utah Owl
Here's the three photos I took that day, plus one of me at the time including Dodgy tache! I was just a couple of months shy of my 25th! Camera was a Pentax ME and I was probably using Fuji film (preferred choice). My favourite is the second picture where the kop is going mad (as the players made their entrance). jellybean
I'd never given any thought as to where the camera men stood before grandstand was built. who'd have thought it would be in front of the roof triangle
