The guy was making his way to the front but by then an official ushered Hunt away. He keeps starting at the moment because his performances have improved; the last two seasons regularly saw Palmer come in for him when this wasn't the case. Also he still has games where his distribution isn't good enough. Today wasn't one of them though. As for Palmer - are you serious? His distribution is consistently abysmal. He played well when he came on against Leeds, mind, but his distribution has been my biggest gripe with Palmer for four or five seasons now.
