BRADDO
Very impressed with him today. Calm, composed and his kicking is excellent
cowl
Yep. I've been highly critical that we haven't got more experienced keepers in to push Westwood for his place, but Wildsmith's done nothing wrong these last two games. I'm still not sure whether Wildsmith, Dawson, and Kean can be considered to be pushing Westwood for his place (which really ought to be the case), but I feel less nervy about Wildsmith after today. Looked very assured.
S36 OWL
couple of vital saves as well.
Jowl
Played well today. Only one cross he should have come to claim and didn't. Impressive. Westwood hasn't been in good form for the last 3 or 4 games.

Like today, he also made an excellent save against Birmingham which was adjudged to be offside - in a way it's a shame for him not to get the 'full credit' for those saves! s6 owl
I've criticised him previously but today he did every he was asked to do and looked a lot more confident doing it
Jon Newsome
Good young keeper, made a few mistakes last season but he was great the year before while Westwood was out. Still think he and Dawson both need to go out on loan and play week in week out, Jake Kean is more than capable of warming the bench.
Owls_fan_since_1983
Did well, would give him a few more games.
Costello 77
Played well. Needs to get off his line quicker. Looks the part to me.
Bluesteel
This will do him the world of good as he looked nervous in previous games. A big clean sheet in a big game.

I must admit to feeling a little uncomfortable with him previously but he really looked good today. He just gets a little close to the edge of the box at times though for my liking, needs to give himself a bit more room before he starts giving free kicks away. Owlsman82
Very good young keeper. Think everyone would agree he still could do with a season long loan in league one in order to fully mature into an assured no 1 for us at some point in the future. i used to be sc_owl
An excellent understudy, but sooner or later he'll want to be number one somewhere. Very solid from him today.

Eaton_Swfc
Said this at various times last season . I'd have sold Westwood at the end of the season (not actively perused selling him, but if a 3/4m bid was made) and thrown Wildsmith in. Very good goalkeeper and will only improve. NIOwl
He's already pushing Westwood to the point that for me the starting place is now his to lose even when Westwood is back.
