Mickjj
Trouble with getting the Real Madrid, Bayern Munich size clubs is you wouldn't get to see their top players. It would be mainly squad players with a couple of "names" making late sub appearances. Much like we do when we go to play the likes of Grimsby. Barcelona? Thinking about it, although highly unlikely, it would make sense to play them. After the history of the QF in the 60s, Chansiri seems fascinated with the 60s era of the club and also it would be fitting because of the ex Wednesday player Patrick O'Connell who saved Barcelona's existence. Reading between the lines it seemed like Barcelona would have been DC's preferred choice. However, if we are aiming to play the game on the final weekend before the start of the season that rules both Real and Barca out as they play each other on the Saturday in Miami. Didn't know that they were playing each other in Miami. I guess it will probably be a Portuguese club then? Do we have any links or ties with any foreign clubs? Salmonbones
I wonder if it's a club side at all. A national side (albeit lacking some superstars who have prior commitment) could easily be on the cards.

But we do did have a couple of people out there recently and they weren't scouts. Edited June 21, 2017 by salmonbones
