Villa have a bigger fan base, more money, more domestic success than Leeds and more European success than Leeds.
F. Spiksley
I put 1 next to us and didn't bother with the rest. When is the result published? I'm on tenterhooks here ... agonising wait. This will be a defining moment in our club's history.

Birley Owl 1867
Villa biggest in this league by far, in fact they're probably still in the top 8 maybe even top 5 biggest clubs in England.
Mr Farrell
A big club wouldn't have condoned Uncle Dave and the Care Home Crew for so long. A big club wouldn't have been happy with Demolition Dave J, or Alan Irvine, again for so long. A big club wouldn't accept mediocrity or be ecstatic with a minor glimmer of success. We can be a big club, but do we want to be ? Or are we happy getting close, but failing ? Once we turn from Apologists to genuine success seekers we can become a big club again. jordanl
Can't believe people actually think we're in the top 4 biggest clubs in the division. Our home support is nothing special, apart from when the part timers come for the big games. We're not even the biggest in yorkshire, we can't compete with Leeds on crowds. Inspector Lestrade
For me Sheffield Wednesday are by far the most important, biggest, and nicest club in the Championship. Live with it.

One day, one day you won't be bitter there will be a moment and maybe just a single moment when you will think of something positive, say something positive, post something positive. I have enough faith in the human condition that you will achieve this. It will be a great day in the history of Owlstalk. Waiting...

james o connor
It doesn't matter I care more about us not failing In the play offs this comes no season again if m honest. For what it's worth villa and Leeds are bigger Sunderland probably just. Derby are easily on par with us. Better average attendances year on year and more recent 'success' though neither us or them have much to shout about on that front. Forest , Norwich , wolves and whether you like to admit or not the pigs are all in the next group behind .
