Fletcher was extremely average until the last 6 weeks of the season.

Agreed but that's six weeks better than the rest of the strikers!! lol

Fletcher was our second top scorer. How do you work that one out?

Bannan was worse than Abdi, Jones and Matias?  No offense mate but you post is nonsense!

Not if you've slated him since he got here...can't lose face on the internet

Was Hutch a consideration for best striker?

Good goal at Brentford.

no doubt he would have been if he had played up front .........complete player and such a shame that his injuries stop him from playing a more conventional centre midfield role but then if he wasn't crocked he wouldn't be playing for us ....

Best defender for me has been Hunt. Been fit nearly all season and has come into his own second half of the season.

Very difficult to chose a midfielder as I think this year we have struggled in the middle of the park mainly for missing Lee for a lot of it. I'm gonna go for Wallace just for his bit of class and coming up with goals out of no where.

best forward has to be Fletcher. Think he finished on 11-12 goals for the season which is a decent return for anyone in their first year of championship football with a new club.

Conventional....do you think he plays so deep because he doesnt have the legs to play higher up alongside his partner?

I noticed his tackles became more irresponsible as the season wore on, and I guessed it was down to not being as mobile as he had been in the first half of the season when he was magnificent. It was almost as if he was thinking I have one chance at stopping this fella because Im not chasing him if he passes me.

Magnificent though he can be, as the season went on I think it showed imo why his appearances as a CM should be special circumstances only. Unless Carlos adopts a very different line up, where Hutch can sit in front of the defence without detrement to our overall midfield, I hope he plays mainly CB next season. Though even then Loovens and Lees are excellent so another quandray.
