Thought he was going to be great for us after first few games but lost his way a bit

However appears to be back.

Fantastic work rate, experienced and now scoring goals

Finally starting to justify his huge wages.

 

No doubt the competion on the bench is a good motivator.

Fantastic last few games. Think he's the perfect foil  for hooper/Rhodes.

Been saying for a while he should be starting with Rhodes and he's a better 'footballer' than winnall but apparently he's crap and no better than nuhiu

 

In all seriousness he's class both on and off the ball and needed games not 5 mins here and there. Hopefully he'll keep scoring between now and the playoffs!

The lads stepped up to the plate his last 3 goals have been real quality, utterly sublime just hope he keeps it up.

Sat in the forty foot before the game with a guy who was adamant that Fletcher is "the worst signing ever, no exaggeration".

 

I'll be happy as long as Fletch keeps proving him wrong.

Throughout his career Fletch has always been a player who gives you 10-15 goals a season . He isnt the fastest or most skillful , but is what he is .

He was immense today. I just wish he'd put his first chance away - that would've been a fckin brilliant goal.

Good in the air when he really goes for it. Shooting boots are a bit worn out and he look slow.

But he is a footballer. A competent striker despite that miss today with the volley. Think he and Hooper are too similar-stately middle aged strikers without speed. Let one replace the other as a sub. Playing both together  not good

we looked dangerous as hell every time we went forward, not sure how you come to your conclusions.

Fletcher is experienced, decent goalscoring record

but the question I ask is this

Is Hooper making Fletch more productive?

Thought they were brill together today

He's blown hot and cold his entire career, can't remember if it was at Burnley or Sunderland but I remember him going on an incredible goal scoring run in the Premier League at one point. If he keeps playing like this till the end of the season he could be key to our chances in the playoffs.

He has a presence on the pitch (similar to Sam Hutchinson), a confidence in his own ability, that helped carry us through December.

 

He's the player thats quite often kept Rhodes out of the Scotland starting 11.  

 

The rest he's had recently seems to have done himself a world of good, here's hoping we can get as many leaders on the pitch as possible till the end of the season

I thought those first half misses would come back to bite us, but thankfully they didn't! Took his goal well and worked hard to retain the ball and bring others into play.  Well done Fletch.
