Macmanaman

Listen , aside from that goal RW has been poor this season and offered nothing again in the first half today , but CC has said tonight that he's been tasked to play a bit more defensively this year which may explain to an extent why his performances have seemed so poor.

McManaman needs to start games, he hasn't come here to sit on the bench and I think he's a better option than RW despite the goal today

Let's be reight, there's no way in a million years a Sheffield Wednesday player should be out on that pitch and looking that indifferent at the sight of a Sheffield Wednesday goal

Let's also be reight, it's absolutely nothing to get our knickers in a twist over lol

Mardy ass is mardy, let's move on... I'm sure everyone else will

Just now, TINKERBELL said:

And tbf Fernando did the right thing to make sure.if he'd left it and defender cleared it Fernando would have been hammered for it.

FF could at least have gone straight to McManaman to celebrate.    He completely ignored him and took all the credit himself.

I'd start him instead of Reach. Maybe it's through orders, but Reach is more worried about protecting our fullback, that attacking theirs. Let's turn the thing right round, and let them worry about us for a change, especially at home.

Play in their half.

McManaman will get his chance to impress. and when he does i expect he'll take it.

the fact is nearly every new player (especially loans) have had to bide their time to get in.he will know that.

but 1-0 up at home probably wasnt the best time to bring him on.

His chance to impress and get a place in starting eleven may come at Brighton. Winnall and Fletcher will be licking their lips in anticipation at teaming up with this lad..

Im excited that we go into this next batch of games with a whole load of different problems for our opposites. its stopped us getting stale at just the right time.

Feel sorry for the OP on this one. I was thinking of posting similar but know what people are like on here so didn't bother. Sometimes people post these questions not just for attention but in case they missed something or to check if others saw it the same way.

From what I saw there seemed to be initial confusion when McManaman came on. He seemed to go straight up the middle & we lost shape for a few mins. FF then went over to the bench for instructions & McManaman went out wide left.

He didn't celebrate the goal with FF & the others. He shook hands with them that came up to him but nothing big. Having seen the replay I don't think FF nicked it as it would have been stopped by defender. But maybe McManaman was angry with himself for not getting the ball under control straight away & scoring himself.

At the end of the game he did walk straight off. Carlos went over & seemed to try talk to him & McManaman kept walking. It looked like CC put his hand out & like it was ignored for a while but he did eventually tap hands.

Whatever it was I don't think we can moan about his performance for the few mins he was on. Even after the 2nd goal he still seemed to be giving 100% so maybe he was just frustrated.
