new score board is the size correct?/

My eldest son has just moved to Portland so we are going Salmon fishing this autumn.

Yes, but what's the resolution?

 

If it's VGA, at 10m wide, each pixel would be 16mm wide. Even full HD would have 5.2mm wide pixels.

 

Will the pixels be square, round or hexagonal? Are they going to be too big? Will we see each dot? Have the club got it right? Are the marketing department incompetent for not offering 'sponsor a dot' - at a tenner each that could bring in £23m - that's at least 2 strikers.

 

...or are we putting too much thought into all this?  :ph34r:

 

So based on http://www.adi.tv/hire/product-screen-selector the pixels are 16mm, so it's VGA (640x480) resolution

have they got the size of the new scoreboard correct ? they state its 60m2 which is 645 square feet ?? sounds like a extremely massive sized scoreboard just asking

6mtrs by 10mtrs, frame work is 7mtrs by 12mtrs so probably about right
