dawkeye
Why do we have to question every fu@king little thing that comes out of the club? Who care if the size quoted is or is not exact? Can't we just enjoy the fact some redevelopment of the stadium is taking place? I like it when people go "Now, I don't know the first thing about grass or drainage, but it seems to me that the club is putting in the wrong grass and drainage. I don't know why, but I just think they're wrong."

Guest wilyfox
1m is 3'3 ft then 3.3 x 60 = 198 Now multiply that again by another 3.3 and you'll be just about there.
Leaping Lannys Perm
There seems to be a significant lack of understanding of how area of rectangles works. Basic Year 5 primary school stuff. Those who are quoting 6m by 10m, whist the exact ratio may not be accurate, have the calculations correct. 6m x 10m = 60m2. Howeve, I would assume the 10m would be the width, not the height. Leaping Lannys Perm
As for feet. 6m x 3.3 = 19.8ft. 10m x 3.3 = 33ft. 19.8ft x 33ft = 653.4ft2

GoldGigsChris
Yes, but what's the resolution? If it's VGA, at 10m wide, each pixel would be 16mm wide. Even full HD would have 5.2mm wide pixels. Will the pixels be square, round or hexagonal? Are they going to be too big? Will we see each dot? Have the club got it right? Are the marketing department incompetent for not offering 'sponsor a dot' - at a tenner each that could bring in £23m - that's at least 2 strikers. ...or are we putting too much thought into all this? airborne_rat_of_s6
Shame they couldn't put it the whole length and height of the South stand - they could video the North and project the images and sounds onto the screen - be a reyt atmosphere!
