Im not complaining about signing him, Im complaining about the timing. Its been obvious to all of us we needed something else when Drenthe went back. Drenthe made such an impression that I'd forgotten about him completely. Allow me to start sgain. In the past year we've been crying out for a winger, as for all but fifteen games in that time, we've had nobody who could beat full backs and get decent balls into the box. For all but fifteen games, in an entire year. It's pathetic that two and a half months after our fifteen game winger left us, we sign an untried winger when we have nothing left to play for. Dyer was always going to favour a move back to his home city.Phillips was never going anywhere. And why would Ince choose us over promotion chasing Derby? You can't force players to come here.
