He was courting Warnock, etc In the end he had to give Gray the job cos he earned it but how long did that take for him to finally give it to him? but the common anti-MM stance at the time was that he was stalling so Gray could get a few results and he could appoint him on the cheap. Becoming the next City/Chelsea or the next Leeds/Pompey No chance of city/chelsea I don't think - he's not that rich from what I've read. I'd be over the moon with something more like what's happened to Leicester though - fingers crossed.
