Not all rumours are true as we all know from the numerous times so called ITK'ers get it wrong, etc Plus despite being able to compete won't mean we'll suddenly become Manchester City overnight and from having a bargain squad of a dozen or so players turn into a multi-talented squad of around 50 players. Common sense suggests it will take time, even with money as we've only currently got a handful of players capable of not looking out of place in a top half side at this level or playing higher. Plus as we know numerous clubs at this level have got their own big money owners and parachute payments.
