bigdan2003
Meanwhile at Hillsborough it’s 120 quid for an u11, or 60 quid on the grandstand. 1
HirstWhoScoredIt
I don’t agree with the pay on the gate pricing at Hillsborough. i don’t agree with the ridiculous amount of categories we have. I don’t agree with the timing of our season ticket launch. I don’t agree with the ridiculously short windows you get to buy season tickets at the cheapest prices before they quickly escalate. The communication at Hillsborough and the optics Chansiri creates is nothing short of a PR disaster. But the Stoke City model isn’t the way. No price increases in 17 years!?!?! Has this resulted in full stadiums at Stoke? The fans have to buy into the vision of the club and invest in that vision. Stoke City fans are clearly very apathetic and at the moment and don’t see what the vision is at Stoke City. Keeping season tickets so low is the only way they can get numbers through the gate. Im all for criticising what has happened at Hillsborough, but let’s not hold up Stoke City as a club to aspire to. Stoke City’s fanbase are as flat as a pancake at the moment. 6

And what is SWFC's vision? Our fans loyalty is rewarded with a slap in the face in the form of annual tickets price hikes for what very likely could be League 1 football. We're already paying some of the highest prices in the Championship and we've not moved out of the relegation zone all season. Credit where credit is due to Stoke. You're just looking for a reason to poke holes in something positive their club is doing.

It sounds like the Stoke owners are subsidising the Season Tickets and good on them but what happens should they sell and the new owners aren’t in a position to do the same? Prices are going to jump and the fans will have a big decision to make. There isn’t a vision at Hillsborough DC has grown bored of the Project and is putting just enough money to keep the club ticking along till either a buyer comes along or his son takes over the club. We are on hold. DC gave me a little bit of hope when he bought in the present management team that he was going to run the club more professionally but after the January window that hope faded. Danny Röhl must be shaking his head. Stoke meh

Yes they don't fill the stadium and there is a lot of apathy as they have finished in the bottom half every season since relegation from the PL in 2017/18. But they are looking after the fans that do go. Their adult season tickets average cost is £379. Ours in the last phase on sale averaged £623 which is crazy considering it is likely to be for League One football. 3
@owlstalk
Some Wednesday Fans: "You can't slate Sheffield Wednesday's ticket prices. We've got Chansiri, he's loaded, that's why we need to keep him as he puts all that money into the club" Also Some Same Wednesday Fans: "Stoke can only look after their fans with those low ticket prices because their owner is loaded and he puts all that money into the club" 4 Owlstalk Shop
wakefieldowl
Stoke should be applauded for this. Wish we did the same however stoke used to average about 13-14, 000 before premier league. Attendance went up then due to the “people who believe the sky hype”. since relegation they now average about 20,000 which is falling all the time. a lot lower than us despite our abysmal record over the last 20odd years and crazy prices stoke are also due some ffp investigations. They’ve made whopping losses of £90 million in one season yet somehow still avoid the rules. Something not right there
TrickyTrev
Why would Chumpsiri freeze prices when he knows he can hike them up, safe in the knowledge that fans will renew in their thousands regardless. Until fans hit this clown in the pocket, there’s zero motivation for him to change.
