Reading are just about to be bought by Americans too

Gone are the days when professional football was an honest sport available for the working man to enjoy

IMO  business comes first to the owners who have little or no interest in the game

There was a lot to be said for the  Saturday ritual

At least one could afford to attend and games were not shifted to the detriment of supporters to please the TV moguls

No doubt there will have been a long line of buyers telling all the fans they were interested in buying the club prior to this announcement.

That's how it works eh fanboys?

Literally the only argument used by protest naysayers.

A steal at 120 million pounds. The San Diego Wave of the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) are just being sold at valuation

of 120 million dollars. No way is a US women's team worth more than any Championship team!

It is sad in football terms it has become more of location than history that gains interest, that in itself tells you the modern outlook on football.

Like it or not..if you wanted to splash north of £100m to own a football club, purely based on a business expansion, QPR or SWFC Is a no brainer

My brother lives in San Diego - don’t they have a men’s team joining the league next season?

I suspect DC is open to offers should any serious ones materialise? He’s been quick in the past to lambast protests against him. He doesn’t appear to be so of late?

With all the sport that goes through Sheffield and the loss of rother Valley there’s surely an argument to propose a new state of the art sports and science leading stadium in the north of England I’m sure the council would back that in some capacity if it provided facilities for young, community and professionals to develop and train. I’m not saying have a running track or anything like that but maybe a leading sport science department with the latest recovery and assessment facilities. Things were majorly lacking in our stadium or training facilities.

Proper made for purpose conference and events  facilities

the ability to attract and use the stadium on non match days / out of season time for concerts England games again etc….

were so far behind with a dated expensive stadium when you look at teams like Arsenal and Tottenham, West Ham which all had large old stadiums they moved to keep up with times and not stagnate
