My brother lives in San Diego - don’t they have a men’s team joining the league next season?

They do , yes, and that team will play at the same stadium as the women's team, but they aren't affiliated otherwise. The MLS

team is owned by an Egyptian billionaire who is paying a 500 million dollar expansion fee to MLS for the team to join.

A steal at 120 million pounds. The San Diego Wave of the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) are just being sold at valuation

of 120 million dollars. No way is a US women's team worth more than any Championship team!

It is if it's in San Diego where there is a population of 3.3m to draw from, where that population is passionate about the city and  where women's football is actually doing well.  It might not have the history we have but it has all the ingredients to succeed.
